Lions Clubs are groups of volunteers who give their time to humanitarian causes in their local and world communities. We strive to help people experiencing a range of difficulties, or to support specialist organisations that do so. The Lions motto is “We Serve” and our aims are simple:
- Community Service
- Fundraising
- Having fun and making friends
With over 1.4 million Lions worldwide, Lions can draw on and provide support to one another when needed and serve many more people than we could alone.
At Leigh we are always looking for new members* and helpers; anyone interested in learning more is welcome at any of our regular club meetings, held on the second and fourth Wednesday 7.30 pm, at The Estuary Club, 1386 London Road. Leigh-on-Sea, SS9 2UJ.
