Together with One Love Soup Kitchen, we were delighted to receive a very generous donation from the Southend Freemasons, in recognition of our assistance at the early vaccination clinics held at their Saxon Hall venue. Whilst we were happy to give our time to this essential work, it was very nice to have our efforts recognised in this way: the funds will be put to good use in our community.

Lions Club of Leigh on SeaMost of our members have had one dose of vaccine, but that doesn't mean we can't get COVID-19. In fact, as the vaccine reduces symptoms, it is vital we continue to be regularly tested for COVID-19 to ensure those we are helping remain safe.
St. Aidan's is our local centre & the team are welcoming and ready to reassure any nervous visitors! Testing is quick and easy - as Lion Ebi well knows (or is that "nose"?)!Mid and South Essex Hospitals CharityCalling all crafters...
We need our knitting army to get their needles out in aid of Southend Hospital dementia patients. Due to the pandemic, we are asking you to make the items and keep them in your home for the time being – please DO NOT bring them to the Lodge as we have no room.
We have three patterns to make cuddly toys which soothe patients with this distressing condition. Links to these patterns can be found by clicking here: https://msehospitalscharity.co.uk/publications/
