…after a hot, Saturday afternoon’s work at the Yantlet flats, weeding and tidying the large flowerbed in the residents’ garden. Six very full bags of weeds, self-seeded rogue plants and bits of rubbish collected. Thanks to Jill for arranging, and Jim and Mark for looking after us (lovely orange squash). We hope to be back. A good job jobbed!
Our Facebook FeedLions Club of Leigh on SeaThanks to our lovely charity shop customers who donate with goods and/or purchases, we will be able to give £2000 towards Kenny’s Walk for Wellbeing in support of the St Vincent’s Centre - Short Street. He’s already well on his way to Land’s End, traversing the Jurassic Coastal path in Dorset.
We are so grateful for everyone’s support, enabling us in turn to help others, but if you would like to support Kenny’s fundraiser direct, here is the link.

We visited St Vincent a few days back - a really professional set up, staffed with enthusiastic and kind people keen to get others who are struggling get back on their feet. They've a track record of success, too.
